Hilton Honors sells points with a 120% bonus to 21 November. At about 1.7 fils a point, it is only for a specific stay

Hilton is adding 120% to points purchases of 5,000 or more until 21 November 2026, which works out at roughly 0.45 US cents (about 1.7 fils) a point. That is above our 1.5-fils Hilton valuation, so it pays only when you have a particular award in mind.

Hilton Honors is selling points with a 120% bonus. Buy 5,000 points and your account receives 11,000. Hilton’s own offers page confirms the headline: “Buy Points now and get 120% more”. Hilton’s purchase page refused our request on 26 October, so the dates, cap and price below come from the terms as reproduced by LoyaltyLobby and from The Points Guy. We have not read them on Hilton’s own site.

The terms, as reported

  • Deadline: 21 November 2026, 11:59 p.m. US Eastern time. That is 8:59 a.m. on 22 November in the UAE. The sale opened on 7 October.
  • Minimum 5,000 points for the bonus to apply, per both outlets.
  • Cap: 240,000 points a calendar year before the bonus, which is 528,000 with it. LoyaltyLobby’s own text also mentions 300,000, but the terms it quotes say 240,000.
  • Non-refundable. Points post within 48 hours. Bought points do not count towards status.
  • Your offer may differ. Both outlets say the bonus may be targeted. Log in to see your own offer before you assume 120%.

The terms as quoted carry no country restriction. The sale is priced in US dollars.

What a point costs in dirhams

TPG puts the normal price at USD 50 for 5,000 points, one US cent each. With the bonus, that buys 11,000 points, or about 0.45 US cents a point. At the 3.6725 peg, USD 50 is AED 183.63, which works out at roughly 1.7 fils a point. Buying the full 240,000 points at that base price would cost about USD 2,400 (AED 8,814) for 528,000 points.

We value Hilton points at 1.5 fils. At about 1.7 fils, you pay more for each point than we think the average point is worth. Buying makes sense only when you have a specific Standard Reward that you have priced in points, and its cash rate works out above 1.7 fils a point. That usually means a peak-date room where the cash rate is high. Do not buy to hold.

If you will be staying at Hilton hotels before the end of the year anyway, the free More Points to Play promotion pays 1,000 or 3,000 bonus points a stay at UAE hotels, with no purchase needed.

Reported on 26 October 2026. Hilton’s offers page confirms the 120% bonus. The dates, cap and price come from LoyaltyLobby and The Points Guy. AED figures are ours, at the 3.6725 peg.
