flydubai flies Dubai to Budapest every day from 25 October 2026. The airline brought the route back on 31 July with three flights a week. It set out the step up to daily flights in its release of 27 July.

What changes

  • Route: Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 3 to Budapest Ferenc Liszt (BUD), nonstop.
  • Until 24 October: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
  • From 25 October: daily.
  • Sold as: a flydubai and Emirates codeshare. That means one ticket and bags checked through when you connect in Dubai from an Emirates flight.

flydubai first flew to Budapest in 2021. Its release ties the move to daily flights to the busy autumn and winter travel season.

Fares

In July, flydubai gave return fares from Dubai starting at:

  • Economy: from AED 2,987
  • Business: from AED 15,585

Those prices were published at launch, three months ago. They are “from” fares, so check the current price for your dates before comparing.

For Skywards members

Emirates Skywards is flydubai’s loyalty programme. flydubai’s release says members can use Classic Rewards on both airlines, and Gulf News reports that Skywards Miles can be earned and redeemed on the route. Neither source gives the miles price of a reward seat, and we have not priced one. Our Skywards hub explains how the programme works.

What it means if you live in the UAE

Until now, a Budapest trip had to start and end on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. From 25 October you can fly any day, which makes a short city break much easier to fit around work. Through the Emirates codeshare, it is also a single-ticket connection from the wider Emirates network.
